Dean’s experience defining brands and crafting and executing industry leading marketing programs has proved a key success factor for urban and resort real estate projects around the world. Having worked extensively on projects spanning master planned resorts, luxury branded properties, condo hotel, fractional and urban real estate, Dean’s wealth of knowledge is an asset to any development project.
As a writer and facilitator Dean has worked extensively distilling and articulating the visions for Urban and Resort projects and developments. Dean began working with Intrawest in 1996 playing an important role in key projects throughout the Intrawest Network. This allowed him to both contribute to and master the innovative marketing approach that built Intrawest into a global leader in the resort industry.
Dean is President and co-founder of Lightroom – an integrated creative agency specializing in real estate marketing. Under Dean’s leadership, Lightroom has delivered marketing solutions for real estate projects with sales totalling over $10 billion dollars in 8 countries. Lightroom’s innovative experiential marketing approach is renowned among the world’s top developers and Lightroom is continually being called upon to engage buyers and ensure closings through various market conditions.
Dean holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of British Columbia, and studied Digital Media Development at the Vancouver Film School.
